No-Fee Apartment of the Week: $2,695 two-bedroom in Riverdale

For the first time since we started this column, we're focusing our attention on the Bronx -- the semi-suburban feeling Riverdale to be exact.

This two-bedroom (convertible to a three-bedroom) at 630 West 246th Street is being offered for $2,695 a month.

Pros: The apartment is large and airy and has plenty of closets. This is not your typical Manhattan-style two-bedroom. The building also has an outdoor pool, gym, children's play room and a tennis court.

Cons: Riverdale is not accessible by subway, and commuting requires buses or the Metro North train. Parking is available, however.
